CAPT. Logan davis

Growing up on the remnants of his great-grandfather’s strawberry farm, Capt. Logan Davis fell in love with the outdoors at a very early age. He tagged along in duck blinds and deer stands long before he was old enough to use a gun. Most evenings of his childhood were spent watching a cork bob in a nearby pond.Nearly three decades later, Capt. Logan has turned his passion into a career. He is a Real Estate professional, land manager, and owner of NOLA Hunt & Fish, LLC. He oversees all alligator hunts and acts as the head guide for duck hunts. When he isn’t deep in the South Louisiana marsh, his favorite place to be is at deer camp in the hills of Mississippi with his dog, Maggie.

Capt. Jacob Stevens

Jacob Stevens was born and raised in rural Ponchatoula. He spent nearly all of his free time at his family's camp in the swamp of the Tangipahoa River, where he would hunt and fish for whatever game was in season. His grade school teachers even had to urge him to read and write about other topics, as all of his school work and reports revolved around the outdoors. 30 years later, and not much has changed- Capt. Jacob still enjoys all Mother Nature has to offer, whether it be spearfishing large blue catfish in Lake Pontchatrain, stalking white-tailed deer in the cypress swamps, or chasing ducks and alligators in the Orleans marsh.
Capt. Jacob brings a lifetime of hunting experience to NOLA Hunt and Fish, and can't wait to share it with you!

Brennan Russell

Brennan was born and raised in the small town of New Roads, Louisiana.

Growing up, he spent his time chasing whitetail deer and ducks at their family land in Innis. When he wasn’t in the woods, he was exploring nature from a boat. Inland or offshore, from a pier or a grassy bank, catching fish became a love (and some say obsession!) in which he excelled and continues to pursue.

One of his favorite things to do is watch a sunrise from a duck blind with his dog, Nelli, and anyone who wants to tag along. His love for and knowledge of the outdoors has grown into a passion that he can’t wait to pass along to his son, Brody.

Doug Lirette

Doug feels blessed to be born and raised down in the swamps of Houma, Louisiana. His family has passed down a passion for the outdoors for many generations. Whether it be deer hunting, duck hunting, alligator hunting, fishing, frogging, or shrimping….. They love it all!

He was hunting and fishing alongside his dad since before he could walk. He often tells him stories of times he carried Doug to the deer stand. They have even extended their hunting experience to include trips all around the country together

making many memories with people who have become life-long friends.

He feels very fortunate that he can also share his passion for the outdoors with his wife and son. They are a family that loves to spend their free time on the water or in the woods and are grateful for every minute that they get to spend doing what they love in a true sportsman's paradise! He is also thankful that living in Louisiana has allowed me to build a career in oilfield sales over the last 20 years.

Caitlin SCates

Connecting the dots between nature and technology, our Marketing Director, Caitlin Scates, keeps the team on their toes and on The Gram.

Being blessed with three girly daughters never stopped Caitlin’s dad from bringing her deer hunting and fishing throughout the years. Pegged as his “fishing buddy,” it easily became an enjoyable past time and legacy she shares with her family: Husband, Robby Scates, and their 3 children: Mayson, Weston and Roman.

With a zeal for all things marketing/social media, and fluency in southern outdoor activities, Caitlin found an easy place on the Nola Hunt & Fish team. She most enjoys spending time with her family, running, amateur photography, and showing off her “gator necklace” picture to anyone who will take a look.
